The signature Sun bag, created by Green Veranda, is fashioned from 100% recycled newspapers and is not only eco-friendly but a chic and stylish fashion statement. The trendy handbags made of strips of tightly rolled newspaper and sealed to guard against moisture also include environmentally safe fibers such as jute or handwoven cotton to complete its look.

This company was high on the list of Go Green Exhibitors sparking the interest of the LBCshow host, Lorraine Baratta. Besides being impressed with the creative handbags, we lauded Green Veranda for its efforts to give back through social and ecological endeavors.

All Green Veranda products are all made in conjunction with a Fair Trade Co Op;  a tree is planted each time the company makes a sale; and Green Veranda allow buyers to choose a non profit organization to which it will donate 10% of sale profits.
